Access to the DLR site
Access to the DLR site is via the main entrance and is only possible with a valid identity card or passport. Driving licences, students or residence permits are not accepted. You will receive a visitor's pass at the DLR gate, which you must wear visibly for the duration of your visit to DLR and hand in at the DLR gate before leaving the DLR site.
We would also like to point out that photography and filming is prohibited on the DLR Oberpfaffenhofen site.
Arrival & location
The DLR site in Oberpfaffenhofen can be reached by car or public transport.
By train
Take a train (ICE, IC, RE or RB) to Munich Central Station, then change to the S8 line in the direction of Herrsching
and travel to Neugilching or Weßling. From both stations you can take a bus to "Oberpfaffenhofen, DLR",
which stops directly in front of the main entrance.

By bus
DLR Oberpfaffenhofen is easy to reach by public transport from Munich Central Station. Take the
S-Bahn line S8 in the direction of Herrsching and travel about 40 minutes to the "Weßling" or "Neugilching" stop. There you take
take bus 955 (from Weßling) or 947 (from Neugilching), which will take you directly to the "DLR" stop.
There is no direct bus connection from Munich Airport to DLR Oberpfaffenhofen. Here, too, we recommend using the
the S-Bahn line S8 to "Neugilching" and then change to the bus as described above.

By car
In Munich, take the A96 motorway in the direction of Lindau and follow the route to exit 32, Oberpfaffenhofen.
At the traffic lights at the motorway exit, turn left towards Herrsching/Oberpfaffenhofen/Weßling. After about 800 metres
you will see the entrance to DLR on the left-hand side.
By aeroplane
The easiest way to get from Munich Airport to DLR Oberpfaffenhofen is by S-Bahn. From the terminal, take the
S-Bahn line S8 in the direction of Herrsching. The journey takes about an hour. Get off at the "Neugilching" stop or alternatively
Weßling" - both stations are close to the DLR site. In Neugilching, change to bus number 947 or 955, depending on which bus leaves first.

From there it is only a short walk to the main entrance of the DLR. In total, you should plan around 1.5 to 2 hours
for the entire journey, depending on the connections.
